Sympathy was originally recorded as a demo in May 2018. The new arrangement was recorded in March 2023 and mixed in May 2023.

Forest Blue was originally recorded in August 2019. The alternate mix that appears on this release was recorded and mixed in May 2023 and is based on an improvised live performance from October 16, 2021 at The Music Gallery, Toronto, Canada.
